At a high level the steps are:
# Download the wallet from [https://github.com/RavenProject/Ravencoin RavenCoin github], install and get a receiving address# Select a pool from the [[Pools]] list- or find one on the [https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2752467.0 BitCoinTalk ANN]# Download the GPU miner either from [https://github.com/MSFTserver/ccminer/releases/tag/2.2.5-rvn github] for Nvidia Cards or [https://github.com/aceneun/sgminer-gm-x16r/releases], unzipor [https://github.com/brian112358/sgminer-x16r/releases] for AMD cards.# Unzip, and edit the batch file config to include the pool you want to mine on and put your wallet address in the start up script....run the batch file.go mining.
(Early miner was only available for Nvidia GPUs - [[AMD]] miners now available but still being tested at time of writing 6 Mar 2018, see 2nd BitsBeTripping YouTube link below - x16r AMD miners available searching GitHub.)
There is a [https://virtopia.ca/how-to-mine-ravencoin-rvn/ comprehensive article on virtopia.ca] to help you get started mining RavenCoin.
Make sure you're downloading software from trusted sources. There have been reports of some miners possibly including malware, whilst this isn't confirmed it's down to you to exercise caution installing anything on your machines. The GitHub links in the steps above to github RavenCoin , MSFTserver and github MSFTserver the AMD miners have been used by lots in the community and are generally trusted.
